Overtime

Record the extra hours you have worked from the app and follow the status of each request.

With a Request for hours you tell your company that you worked extra hours on a given day. Once it is accepted, those hours are added to your hours balance and you can take them later as time off.

For the step-by-step, see Request overtime.

Where to request it

  • From the menu: New request › Request for hours.
  • From Calendar: the + button › Request for hours.

The form

New request for hours opens with these fields:

Rules

  • One request per day. If you already have an overtime request on that day, you will see There is already a request for hours for that day.
  • Type and date are required. If either is missing, you will see Incomplete Form.
  • Hours can be worth more than their length. Each overtime type has a multiplier set by your company. Once accepted, the hours you requested multiplied by that value are added to your balance. For example, with a multiplier of 1.5, two hours of overtime earn three hours of compensatory time.
  • One balance per year. The hours are added to the balance of the year of the day worked.
