My clock-ins

Look up your clock-ins by date and send the ones the app saved while offline.

In My Clock-in´s you see your clock-ins and clock-outs grouped by day. It is also where you send the clock-ins the app saved on your phone when there was no connection.

Open it from the shortcut on the right of the bottom bar. If you are not a supervisor, it is also in the menu as My Clock-in´s.

Choose the dates

At the top there are two dates: the start date and the end date. When you open the screen, both are today.

  1. Tap the first date and choose the start day.
  2. Tap the second date and choose the end day.

The list updates with the clock-ins for that period. To reload it, pull the list down.

What each day shows

Each day shows the date, the total time clocked and its clock-ins. Each clock-in shows:

  • The type, with an icon: work (with the project name), break or leave (with the reason name).
  • The start and end time. If you have not clocked out yet, No exit appears.
  • A house if you clocked in while working remotely.

If there are no clock-ins for those dates, you will see No clock-in found!

Offline clock-ins

When you clock in without a connection, the clock-in is saved on your phone. Until it is sent, your company cannot see it.

When you open My Clock-in´s with a connection, the app tries to send them on its own. If it cannot, you will see the Non-Sync entries section with the list of pending clock-ins.

Connect to the internet

Check that you have mobile data or Wi-Fi.

Send the clock-ins

Tap Sync manually. You will see Synchronizing Clock-in´s... and then one of these messages:

  • Sync entries: all of them have been sent.
  • Some clocks could not be synchronized with the server: try again.
  • Entries could not be synchronized with the server: none were sent; try again later.

Clock-ins sent this way are marked in the admin panel as offline clock-ins. If any of them overlaps with a clock-in that already existed, it is not added to your working day.

Save a copy of pending clock-ins

If you cannot send them, you can make a copy to give to your company or to Inallow support. When there are pending clock-ins, a + button appears in a corner of the screen. Tapping it opens two buttons:

  • The download button saves a text file with the clock-ins on your phone. You will see Exported offline files.
  • The copy button copies them to the clipboard so you can paste them into an email or a message. You will see Copied offline files.

In both cases the content is encrypted: it cannot be read at a glance, and is only useful for support to recover the clock-ins.
