Salto KS
Connect Inallow with Salto KS electronic locks so employees clock in when they open the doors.
Salto KS is a cloud access control system: the doors have electronic locks that open with an electronic key, a card or a phone. If your company already uses Salto KS, you can connect it with Inallow so that opening a door counts as a clock-in: the employee walks into the office and their clock-in is recorded, without having to clock in anywhere else.
How it works
- You connect your Salto KS account with Inallow from the Clocks admin panel.
- You import your Salto KS systems and the doors you want to use for clocking in, and decide what type of clock-in each door generates.
- You link each Salto KS person with their Inallow employee.
- From then on, every time a linked employee opens one of those doors, Inallow records the matching clock-in. Door openings appear as events in the admin panel and clock-ins appear in Clock-ins, like any other.
Door types
Each imported door has a Type that decides which clock-in it generates when opened:

| Work entry | Starts the working day (with the project you assign to the door). |
| Work exit | Ends the working day. |
| Work Entry-Exit | Toggles: if the employee was out, it clocks them in; if they were working, it clocks them out. |
| Pause entry | Starts a break (with the reason you assign to the door). |
| Exit - pause | Ends the break and goes back to work. |
| Entry- exit pause | Toggles between starting and ending a break. |
In each door you can also choose:
- Cooldown: the minimum time that has to pass between two openings for the second one to count as a clock-in (no cooldown, 1, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or 1 hour). It stops opening the same door several times in a row from generating extra clock-ins.
- Center: clock-ins from that door take the location of the chosen work centre.
What you need
- A Salto KS account with access to your systems. When connecting, the admin panel asks for the Salto KS User name and Password.
- In Inallow, permission to manage Salto KS. Clocks administrators have it; if you have it, you will see Salto KS in the admin panel menu. See Roles and permissions.
- Employees must be able to clock in from the Salto KS integration. By default they can; the General Administrator can turn it off per employee in Inallow Admin (Clocks tab, option "Enable signings made via the integration with Salto KS"). See Where each employee can clock in from.
Set it up step by step
