Clock-in app
What you can do with the Inallow clock-in app on your phone and on the web, and how it is organised.
With the clock-in app you record your working day, request absences and overtime, and check your clock-ins and the hours you have worked. If you are a department supervisor, you also approve your team's requests.
Where to get it
| Version | Where |
|---|---|
| Android | Google Play |
| iPhone | App Store |
| Web (computer or phone) | webapp.clocks.inallow.io |
All three versions have the same screens. Notifications only reach the app installed on your phone. To sign in for the first time, see Access to Inallow.
How it is organised
The app has a main menu with these options:
| Option | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Clock-in | Recording your start, breaks, leave and finish. View |
| New request | Requesting an Absence, a Request for hours or a Comp Time. Absences, overtime and compensatory time |
| Calendar | Seeing your absences, public holidays and hours, and the status of your requests. View |
| Board | Reading your company's announcements. View |
| My Clock-in´s | Checking your clock-ins by date and sending the ones saved offline. View |
| Team | Supervisors only: it replaces My Clock-in´s in the menu. View |
| Profile | Your details, password, language, start page and signing out. View |
| Summary | The hours you have worked today, this week, this month and this year. View |
At the bottom you also always have three shortcuts: the menu, the clock-in button (in the centre) and your clock-ins. If you have unsent clock-ins, the shortcut to your clock-ins shows a red counter.
What depends on your company
Some things in the app depend on how your company has set up Inallow:
- Projects and reasons: the projects you choose when clocking in and the break and leave reasons are created by the administrator.
- Clocking in from the app: your company may not allow you to clock in from the mobile app or from the web. If so, you will see You are not authorised to register time entries via this app.
- IP filtering: if your company only allows clocking in from certain networks, outside them you will see Access Denied and you will not be able to clock in offline.
- Time accuracy: if your phone's time does not match the server's, the app will not let you clock in until you correct it.
- Available vacation days: the days you are entitled to come from your collective agreement and from any adjustments your company makes.
These options are explained in Projects, Reasons, IP filtering, Time accuracy and Collective agreements.
