Start
The page you see when you open the admin panel, with pending requests, upcoming absences, the latest announcement, incidents and the day's summary.
Start is the first page you see when you open the admin panel. It brings together on one screen what usually needs attention: requests waiting for a response, who is away over the next few days, who is working right now and whether there are clock-ins to review.
The data loads when you open the page. To see the latest information, open Start again or reload the browser.
What you see depending on your user
- Administrators see data for the whole company (or for the department chosen in the top bar, if they supervise departments).
- Supervisors only see the people in their departments. They do not see the Last advertisement or Last incidents blocks.
If your user does not have access to a feature, its block appears locked with the message "Update your plan to enjoy this functionality!". This usually happens when your plan does not include that feature or your role does not have the permission. Talk to your company's administrator if you think you should see it.
Absence requests
Shows the vacation and absence requests pending a response, from today to a year ahead. Each card shows:
- The employee and the absence type.
- The comments they wrote, if any.
- Days requested: and the dates (Day or From … to …).
- Date of application: when they sent it.
From the card itself you can click Accept or Reject. The admin panel asks you to confirm before saving. If there are no requests you will see "No absence pending.".
For the whole approval process, see Approve or reject vacation days and the Absences section.
Overtime requests
Shows pending overtime requests. Each card shows the employee, the request type, the Requested time, the Requested day and the Date of application. As with absences, you can click Accept or Reject and confirm.
If there are no requests you will see "No pending time request has been found.". More information in Approve or reject overtime and in Request for hours.
Latest announcement
Shows the most recent announcement published on the board, with its author, date, title and message. From here you have the same actions as in the Announcements section:
- View visits: the "read/recipients" counter and, when you click it, who has seen it and who has not.
- Notify: sends the alert to the recipients again.
- Delete: removes the announcement from the board, after confirmation.
If none has been published you will see "There is no advertisement". Only users with permission to manage announcements can see it.
Latest incidents
Shows the most recent clock-in from the last 7 days that was made outside the work centre's area and is still waiting for review. For each one you will see the employee and the date and time of the clock-in.
Click Modify (the pencil) to open the Clock incident window and mark it as Justified or Unjustified. Once you do, it disappears from the block. If there is nothing pending you will see "No incidents in the last 7 days".
To review all the incidents for a period, go to Incidents. Only users with permission to manage clock-ins can see this block.
Upcoming absences
Shows the next 7 days, starting tomorrow. For each day you will see the date, how many people are away ("1 User", "3 Users") and their avatars. Hovering over an avatar shows the name and the absence type. If nobody is away that day you will see "No absences".
It only counts accepted absences. Pending ones are in Awaiting requests.
Summary of the day
Sorts the workforce by what they are doing right now. Each group shows how many people are in it and their avatars (hover to see the name):
| Group | Who appears |
|---|---|
| Working | Has a work clock-in open. |
| Pause | Has a break open. |
| Permission | Has a leave period open. |
| Already worked today | Clocked in today and has already finished. |
| Not working today | Has not clocked in today and has no accepted absence for today. |
| Absences | Has not clocked in today and has an accepted absence for today. |
