Analytics

What each Analytics tool (Dossiers, Reports and Summary) offers and which one to use in each case.

Analytics is the way in to your clock-in, absence and hours data. When you click it in the menu you will see three buttons: Dossiers, Reports and Summary.

It is visible to administrators with permission to generate reports and to supervisors. Supervisors only get data for the people in their departments (and their own). If you have chosen a department on the top bar, the data is limited to that department.

Before you pull data

  • Close open clock-ins. Reports only count the stretches that have a start and an end. If an employee forgot to clock out, that stretch does not appear until you correct it in Clock-ins.
  • Check timetables, public holidays and absences. The reports that compare with the timetable use each employee's timetables, public holidays and accepted absences.
  • Check the collective agreement. The breaks that the employee's collective agreement counts as work are added to the time worked.
